Explorer Post #1072 is an explorer post in Glen Cove, New York that is apart of the Boy Scout's of America Explorer Program.
We are sponsored by the Glen Cove Volunteer EMS. The explorer post was established with the intent of having young adults(
14 to 21 years of age) gain first hand experience in the field of emergency medicine.
As an explorer post our members
learn important life skills such as team work, leadership, and responsibility. Our members also learn the necessary skills
to become sucessful members in EMS. Currently our members hold the following certifications - BLS Healthcare Provider, CPR,
AED, First Aide, and Certified First Responder (CFR). | |
